Accepting a challenge, daring something new, taking another step—these all require courage. The courage to think, think new thoughts, and think ahead. But what does „the courage to think“ mean? How do I effectively act with courage? How do I take action? Courage is closely associated with the term consciousness, being conscious of one’s own values, ideas and wishes. It’s about finding clarity.
I am your sparring partner when you have the following goals:

Intercultural Coaching
Globalization opens possibilities to the explorer in all of us. A rich and exciting diversity lies at our feet. Nevertheless, the moment we step across the border what we take for granted, changes.
The concept of culture is puzzling. What’s really behind the much-discussed concept of interculturalism?
Today many microcosms of cultural backgrounds converge in the private sphere as well as in multinational companies. The intercultural complexity we have to juggle everyday is denser than ever. The line between the exciting world of exploration and a tense coexistence is often rather narrow.
I am your sparring partner when you need to understand diversity and want to find opportunities hidden within!
In the coaching process, we will work out strategies for consciously dealing with interculturalism. I will support you in the wonderful process of encountering „others“ at an eye-to-eye level, and thereby working goal-oriented, successfully and satisfactorily.
When you have to face someone else, you always have to face yourself.
Potential Coaching Topics for Professionals and Executives / Corporate
- leading intercultural teams
- interculturally oriented staff development
- assignments overseas
- initial contact in Germany
- international project management
- conflict management

Coaching and Communication for foreign language speaking professionals and executives
„Life is too short to learn German“, Oscar Wilde once wrote. Considering that English is the dominant language in the work place, you could very possibly say he was right—but not always.
Language, that is to say, successful communication, is the key to making contact with other people and achieving successful work results. Whether holding meetings, drafting emails, speaking on the phone, making small talk at official get-togethers or just chatting with a colleague over a cup of coffee—these are all communication opportunities that require fine communication skills—and the German language.
This offer is addressed to foreign professionals and executives who want to improve their German language skills while participating in a coaching process.
Team Coaching – Intercultural Team Coaching
The success of a project is in direct relationship to a well-functioning team. You have less success when you have „a function disruption“.
A team works together successfully when
- every member can act independently
- the possibility to achieve one’s full potential is available and can be used
- and we regard others and ourselves with esteem.
Your „team culture“ is the focus of team coaching. We identity conflict triggers and offer efficient and structured solutions. My focus is working on increasing the strengths of the team.
The goal is sustainable support of working together based on
- increasing every member’s motivation
- increasing the team’s ability to perform
- and thereby increasing its work results as a whole.
In regard to multinationally structured teams, there will be a focus on sensitization to cultural differences, perceptions and values:
- uncovering misunderstanding problems while interacting
- differentiating perception conceptions
- recognizing opportunities in international cooperation
- using successful communication to create a culture of openness and understanding
In addition to looking at our own, individual thought patterns, country culture as well as corporate cultures will be taken into consideration.
The success of a project is in direct relationship to a well-functioning team.
Potential team coaching subjects:
- a new team organization
- discrepancies regarding tasks, i.e. competency distribution
- team dynamics: dealing with status, role distribution and hierarchies / power struggles
- conflicts of interest
- possibility of energy bundling
- verbal and non-verbal communication
- thought patterns i.e. belief systems
Inka Grosse
I am driven by a deep interest in people.
What makes people who they are?
What are their visions?
What opportunities are available to take courageous and conscious action?
After studying Languages and Sociology in Cologne, I began my professional career working as a communication trainer in Germany and abroad. Part of my time was devoted to journalism. For several years I produced a youth magazine for the Deutsche Welle radio station’s editorial department Países africanos de Língua Oficial Portuguesa.
In 2007 I moved to Berlin to set up a new institute for the internationally renowned language school Eurocentres.
I was the Centre Manager until 2013. My responsibilities there included HR management, academic management, quality management, financial management and marketing.
In 2013 I successfully completed my training as a Business Coach / Coach for Professional Development at the Dr. Bock Coaching Academy. My training for team and group coaching followed in 2014, and I have been working as a coach ever since.
My entire career is defined by work on the individual and mutual understanding within a national as well as international context. In order to serve this purpose, I have repeatedly spent extended periods of time studying and working in England, France and Brazil.
In addition to my professional life, I am a mother of two children. The challenge of combining family and job every day has taught me to deal mindfully with others and myself. I believe this is the best way to maintain a balance between external circumstances and personal needs.
